Jacob Petrie

I’m Jacob, a technology leader focused on developer and engineering experience by building and learning from technical communities. I currently lead Technical Advocacy at Datadog, where I work with teams and users around the world to help shape products around real developer needs.

Before Datadog, I did similar DevRel work at Stripe and Twitter, as well as across a range of startups in engineering and leadership roles.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a theatrical lighting designer — experience that still shapes how I think about systems, storytelling, and collaboration.
